Does anyone know if there is a difference between an LC & LJ Torana steering column cover to suit floor shift?
I have just purchased an LC cover and it appears too small for my LJ.

im not 100% sure but i would think there is because the lj had ignition barrell etc to fit in as the lc was all on the dash. hope that makes sense.

they are different, the tops are about the same diameter but there is a section cut out on the LJ where the lock fits and the bottom of the LC is smaller.
the "arch " in the LC lower dash is smaller than that in the LJ
also the LC mounts with one screw at the bottom in the centre where as the LJ has 2, one on each side

Looks like I will need to find myself an LJ item. If anyone would like to swap one, I would be happy to do so.
The LC blank steering cover I have is in excellent condition - no cracks or broken bits.
I'm also open to offers over $200 (what it cost me) if anyone wants it.
There is one on evilbay at the moment for $350!

I made some molds up a while back to make both in fibre glass but haven't done so yet as I haven't need one. if any one wants a repro I could make up a sample

laid one up today, I need to be in right mood these days to fibre glass so took a while to get to it.
I will take out of mold and clean it up tomorrow and see how it fits
