I'm just querious does anyone know how many GTR's and XU1's were ever built in total and how many by make and year.

I have put a lot of time into extracting these numbers from the VIN disc so I reckon they would be extremely accurate. The XU-1 numbers have been confirmed by others.
LC GTR = 6610 (5961 @ 2600S and 649 @ 2850S)
LC XU-1 = 1400 (1100 @ 3100x and 300 @ CK)
LJ GTR = 3639
LJ XU-1 = 2194
Therefore:
Total GTRs = 10249
Total XU-1s = 3594

Great work Bazza, but isn't this the ultimate unanswered XU1 question!!!
Here's my uneducated guess
LC GTR = 6610 (5961 (under 300) @ 2600S and 649 (under 50) @ 2850S)
LC XU-1 = 1400 (1100 (under 200) @ 3100x and 300 (under 40) @ CK)
LJ GTR = 3639 (under 300)
LJ XU-1 = 2194 (under 300)
Anyone want to have a stab at it?

I know it's a bit ANAL but just how many Originals with all Tags & Original Motors
In other words, All 5 numbers matching.???????
For the 69 Lc Gtr's, All 4 Matching.??????
