Hi, In the boot of my LH SLR5000 Torana there is a small brass badge located on the rear left hand side with some numbers. Can anyone please help and let me know if they mean anything or could they have been placed there by the previous owner?

sorry no further clues! thats all i know about it apart from the size which is 6cms x 4cms

When I worked at Ford Mo Co, all managers who had Company cars had what was commonly called a "brass tag" issued to their car. It also had numbers on it to identify who leased the car. They were either round or square and usually fitted to the number plate.
It could be something like this although having it located in the boot sounds unlikely.

Hi guys...nice forum...here are the pics of the torana, im hosting them for tori75, it lookslike it has been there since day 1 and has the paint scratched off it...perhaps it is some sort of back in the day torana HSV tag id number or somthing....this torana is a Genuine SLR5000,,,not an imitation

Firstly, I'd like to say, nice car (lets see some more of it lol), secondly I can only offer some suggestions on the tag. It could be a dealership stock number? It looks like it's been there a while, but who knows, I have never seen that before.
