PARTS UPDATE!!

Hi All

I thought that I would give you an update on what's happening and post some pics of some preproduction samples..

Heater Hoses LX 27a V8

These are coming along pretty well and I expect the final samples sometime next week. At this stage the only changes to be made are;
The outer texture of the hoses will NOT be smooth as in the sample pictures. They will have a texture similiar to that of the originals.
The bend in the hose near the thermostat housing will be "moved along" to make the bend closer to the rocker cover.
All in all, the bends and their placement is very good.
We expect stock by December 2010.

Pinchweld - in Black

This has been a long time coming and is one item that I am constantly asked about. We are very happy with the outcome and approvals have been granted to commence full production

Hatch Rear Qtr Dome Nut & Screw (set of six)

Park Brake Release Knob v1

Samples have come in and approvals have been given for the full production of these. You will note that these incorporate the version 1 front symbol and the version 2 metal sleeve, that was part of teh original ones. No more broken Park Brake Knobs!!
We expect stock by December 2010.

Posted Image

LX RTS Badge

Samples have come in and approvals have been given for the full production of these. Please note that the production version will be chrome as per the original.
We expect stock by December 2010.

Posted Image

The rear pins were used with the "Statesman" Version of the badge..
Posted Image

This will give you an idea of the various versions used by Holden..

Posted Image

Rocker Cover Hose Clip

Samples have come in and approvals have been given for the full production of these.
We expect stock by December 2010.

Posted Image

Hatch Rear Quarter Window Seal

We are still working to get this right. we are now waiting on, what we hope, it the final pre production sample. If all goes well, we would expect these by December 2010.

G-Day Mick,

Great products there mate. Have you had the "Hatch Rear Qtr Dome Nut & Screw (set of six)" come in yet? I just fited the rare spares window seals that have been in my shed for 8 years and managed to strip the threads (Should they be that tight to close?).

Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt,

We have just rec'd the Dome Nuts last Friday and these are now available. A set of Six, including Screws and Washers will set you back $50.00, plus $3.00 postage. These were designed from the originals but they take metric threaded screws, so no more trying to find NLA screws!!

We have also just rec'd the following;

Park Brake Release Knob ver1,

LX RTS Glovebox Badge and clips,

HX Holden and UC Torana RTS Glovebox Badge, and

Rocker Cover Hose Clip.

We are currently waithing on the following that is coming by sea freight..

LX Grille Badge Bracket and nuts,

LH/LX Heater Control Knobs,

Brake Line (Inner Guard) Grommets for late LX (A9X) and UC,

Black Pinchweld,

LX 27A V8 Heater Hoses, and

Hatchback Rear Quarter Seals

It's going to be another busy year, I think!

When my Photobucket stops playing up, I will post some pics of the new parts..

If you are interested in these, or any other parts, email me at [email protected]

cheers
Mick

Hi Dane

I actually rec'd an original LC/LJ one off one of the guys in the Club on Saturday.

Having a look at it, it is very very close. Once I have these in stock, I will get you and Huddo, etc to see how they fit in the LC/LJ Coupes.. If they don't fit, I will look at making them specifically for you guys..

cheers

Hi Gary

we are currently working on getting all of the Dash knobs redone, including the radio ones. There is a fair bit involved with each knob but we are confident that they will be redone this year.
