You have to question Rares Spares business model when out of necessity you have to $43.95 for a whole car grommet kit when you only want one firewall grommet. According to the sales person, this is common with many products.

Thank RS

Thanks, but a bit late. Pity the counter jockey didn't tell me the smaller kit was still available.

Cheers

Still can't work out why Rares put a HK,T,G brake booster pushrod firewall boot in the LC/LJ kit. It doesn't anywhere on an LC/LJ. Also noticed it's in the pic for the LH/LX kit. Pretty sure it doesn't fit them either.

I don't know if any of the RS reps bother to read this now that Les is :RIP: & Cav is :burnout: , but if you don't start pressing replacement LH/X radiator support panels before someone else does you will miss the boat.

The VH2011 is still available

Most people just use a VH2519 boot but its straight sided not concertina.

Can't be seen but some people like things right even if no-one can see it

Looks more like this... so difference centre hole size and config too

Brad, ex factory your booster most likely had the VH2011 concertina type Boot but as Datto said it's not seen (on LH/LX/UC & HQ-WB) so won't really matter.

On another note, the whole reason for my posting the above information for Edan is, it is apparent that Rare Spares have for years, been putting the wrong rubber boot in the LC/LJ and LH/LX firewall grommet kits due to one of their parts being incorrectly numbered.
