Alright well the new cable didn't arrive til today, but I just chucked it in and I gotta say - feelsgoodman.

Shame the weather turned to shit and I'm not out driving it. Might have to take it for a thrash later on if it dries up a bit.

thanks for the updated pics, so cut my old pedal into a hook and use a uc clutch cable??

and wow looks so much easier in a six, my v8 i can hardley see the hole in the fire all for the cable to go through

Well with the V8, people have been talking about positioning the hook 25mm further away from the pivot point for a different velocity ratio... I don't know what it's for though? Does a V8 have a different clutch fork or something? Me no comprehende - you might need to check with others.

All that I can tell you is that cutting the hook into my pedal worked a treat and makes it essentially a UC pedal.

V8 bellhousing being bigger, the fork/cable pivot ratio is probably different? :dontknow:

I've never even seen a V8 bellhousing out of a car and I didn't realise they were a different size lol. Well there ya go, thanks.
