Have a set of LH Solid disc rotors and a set of aluminium single 76mm piston that bolts straight onto HR disc brake stub's, which fit nicely inside a strange set of Jelly-bean mags that are 13x7,13x7.5 deep dish.Which I was told were a racing torana because of a reverse bead (meaning that the tyre can only go on and off the rim from the inside). Not too sure how true this info is ??? I've also been given a set of LH torana Calipers (cast iron and haven't measured the piston size) but they are to suit vented rotors which are an extra 30mm in dia to the solids. Would the LH disc brake stub's accept both Brake options ???? Any help with any info would be muchly appreciated. Yes, I know it's not a tory but at least I'm still Flying the LionPosted Image
And what better place to ask than this awesome site Posted Image Cheers !!

Only LH vented disc was L34

So unlikely you have those
Post up a pic so we can identify the ones you have

And no... the stubs won't accept that caliper on a larger disc (276mm v's 256mm)

Theres a brake section on the forum with alot of this info ready to read...I'll move this thread there so others can find it

Thank you Dattoman,
so a 276mm hub o.d. is bigger than a 256mm hub o.d.?
Wondering if a 276mm rotor could be machined down?

yes can be machined down, common trick on torana's is to bolt on machined down HQ discs and bolt on the HQ caliper straight to the torana stub axle. And redrill disc to torana pattern.

Same trick can be used on HR disc stub.
