Where are you located Jugs? EG. If you are in Canberra I can point you in the right direction.
Location in the sig is always a benefit.

Hey peoples I work with powder coated materials. Every body probably already knows this but I just thought I would remind eveyone that powder coating is porus and to be sure if it is steel that is being coated to have it under coated before it is powder coated, otherwise the steel will rust under the powder coat and eventually the coating falls off. Some sand blasters will under coat for you after the items are blasted.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but when your powder coating suspension components, do you do the powder coating first, then try and get the bushes in without damaging it, or do you put the bushes in first, then get it powder coated?

Remove bushes, powdercoat then replace bushes. Some sections like inside brake drums where shoes wear and threads etc need to be taped up. Masking tape usually holds up as powdercoating usually is done at about 200 degrees.

Thanks Datto, I wasn't sure what sort of primer to use as an undercoat.
