gday all
i have just bought some repair sections of this guy and am happy to say
that they are good quality and fit (qtrs i just lined up over existing and if anything they are on the long side and easy to make right)and alot cheaper than others i have seen and that was even after postage from qld to vic

Batt tray was $85
Rear qtrs were $70 each and yes it has the back side that folds up onto boot floor(if you know what i mean)

Aussie Restos 0413 638 631 Email [email protected]

this guy sent me a list of what he makes e.g
door skins sedan fr $280
door skins coupe $330
door lwr section $55

call them for a full list they also make panels for other makes as well

i will post pics after i have welded panels in

Thanks heaps for that. See how we go.

There seem to be many different people selling repair panels, does anyone know who is making what and where, or is it all coming out of the same place?

Any feedback on who is making good quality stuff would be good if they are different.

Thanks,
Daniel

Fantastic job there Jim. Looks better than factory!
I have heard they will be working on LH/LX boot floors early next year. Can't wait for this product and I am sure that there are more in my boat!!!!!

if its the place in Tiaro they had mint examples of torana's HQ;s and Ford XY's that customers and mates left them there for ages as he made perfect templates from unmolested cars so they fit properly, nice helpful bloke and you get a discount when buying in person too, handy if you live in the wide bay QLD

Yeah mate, I can vouch for Retro Rods, he does awesome work... But his apprentice/trainee? is a bit lax. Can overlook things. Am getting him to fix up my nose cone, if I can't do it myself first. Apparently Retro Rods is that precise he refabricated a whole body off an old 34 Ford? just from a picture...

After some enquiries (and not myself the only one baffled) these come from a manufacturer that also supplies Rares.

Anything sold thru Rares is black. These panels are usually sold silver, so this seller is repainting them black.

As an adminstrator, if someone is reselling anothers product for a profit without mention of the fact, people might not want to go there.
If he's selling them cheaper, by all means grab em, but most will have to factor in shipping which probably amounts to what Rares sell them for.

Move along, move along, noting to see here.

Grant..
