Done some searching but cant seem to find what size rubber will fit under non flaired LX sedan guards.

Whats the biggest you guys have run? Will I get a 255/40R17 under the back and 235/45R17 under there with the correct offset and no rubbing?

215 65 14 on the back just fits and 205's on the front just fit. All arches had the lips flattened.

235/60/15 ET streets on back. These have wide shoulders and there is still space left over. I suspect a 255/50/15 would be Ok with the right rim offset.
205/60/15 on front with space to spare.

Cool thanks guys. Might have to experiment with some front wheels and tyres to see what can fit!

If I can even squeeze 225's up front that would be awesome but I'll see how far my luck goes...

anyone have 215-60-15 or 225-60-15 on the front of an unflared lh,lx,uc torana?

im looking at usein convos 15x7 1/2 in torry pattern with a 5in back space
or convos in a 15x6 with a 3 3/8th backspace on the front of my unflared uc with none or 1in lower in front.

iv searched and i believe that if i use a convo 15x7 1/2 with a backspace of 5in i can use a 225-60-15 or 235-60-15 on the rear would this be correct?

thanks Matt.

5" backspace on the front sounds like it may be hitting things, 4" is closer to the mark but runs a 7" rim out to the guard edge.

If you go much over 600 diameter you may find the front tyre grabbing the bottom front wheel arch.
205/50 15 series tyres brings the diametre within under 6mm of standard.

I would be borrowing some wheels before laying down hard earned cash.

o ok thanks mate didn't realize that 5in back space on front may hit things i may just get the 6in with a 3 3/8th back space convo pros as i don't want to change my stud pattern and i like the convos

and ill put 205-50-15 on.

thanks .

You will get a 7" on the front but best to check one first for what back space suites if you can borrow a rim.

225x50x15 on the front max on the front and lips rolled but still sometimes rub on a bad bump
hope that helps
