Heat shields for hotrod headers.

I made some extractor heat shields at work this week for a hotrod. Check 'em out. Made from 2" stainless tubing that I mandrel bent to shape then trimmed to fit over the existing headers with an air gap between. Finally merged into each other, TIG welded then polished.

The owner said he wanted them to "look like headers"...... He was stoked with the result of my efforts.

What do you guys reckon?
