hello out there i have hit a spot of bother i recently purchased a commodore blue motor for my lj torana coupe which is going to get vk efi and a toyota supercharger and also bought a commodore 5spd not sure wat year but early anywho i was wondering how smoothly do these boxes fit in as i have the choice of running the aussie fourspeed i got in it at the moment or the 5. what sort of linkages will i need will the rat trap ones form the aussie 4 speed fit in will the gearbox itself line up okay? will much need to be cut form the tail shaft and will the shifter go through the same hole for the aussie 4spd in the floor or will i need to do a bit of surgical work

any replies are apreciated
thanks chevy

I'm picking up my VH/VK 6 cyl 5 speed box next month. It's a variation of the Sigma 5 speed. The shifter is in the extension housing and uses internal linkages, like the Celica steel case box. I won't know any more until I attempt to fit it in my WB van. The Aussie 4 speed would be a stronger box.
