I recieved an email from the son of a rally driver recently
He's offered up some info and pics on his dads old car
Thought maybe you guys would like a look and maybe be able to add to the history if you know anything about this car

Bruce1 was taken in 1974
Bruce2 is in front of the Collie police station in 1974
Car spec's
1971 Holden LC Torana GTR XU1 (Bathurst Special) 1 of 200. Purchased new at Collie. 186 Cubic Inch 180 horsepower motor, Colour Lima Mint with black interior. Registration No. CO 80.
Modifications � Head ported and polished, 0.020 planed, Extractors fitted. 6 inch rims with 205/60 X 13 Dunlop tyres, Davies Craig thermal fan (gain of 6 useable horsepower supposedly) CDI ignition.
Differential ratio changed from 3.36 to 3.55 for rally work (3.08 also supplied with some cars)
All tuning to manufacturer�s specifications with attention to detail.
Carburettors - triple CD Stromberg as standard. Use sewing machine oil in dampers and ensure correct seal on piston valves by lapping together with Brasso
Suspension settings
Camber Racing - 1 � deg Road � � deg
Castor + 3 � deg + 2 � deg
Toe in 1/32� 1/16�
Anti sway bar 10 �� 10 ��
Car used as every day driver and in sports events as member of Light Car and Collie Car Clubs.
1975 competed in State Rally Championship with the best placing of a third outright.
Car since broken up with body at Claremont Speedway and engine in a racing boat.
