Have fun Steve, though it might be a bit quiet this year.

The web site says the swap is "fully booked out", so i guess it may be quite busy ?

I actually don't think im going this year Grant, just thought id let everyone know its on, as someone will be gratefull of the knowledge im sure.

I do have a mate keeping a eye out for me when he goes up, just incase he comes across a cheap 79 UC

Cruiza dropped by on Sunday arvo - the swap was basically a hoemwares showcase!!
He di see a red LH on the way down the hill though :D

Ms_Cameo_Gold's dad was up on Fri, and said the same - nothing worth going for (AND dying from the horrendous heat).
Glad we stayed home.

I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH WHAT I MANAGED TO FIND AS WELL - THERE WAS A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TORANA GEAR THERE.

AS FAR AS THE DATE GOES, IT'S NORMALLY ON THE FIRST FRIDAY / SATURDAY IN FEB.

I had heard it was a really big event and I was expecting it to put swap meets in NZ that I have been to too shame

I guess a combination of high expectation and having become use to the Rockhampton swap meet lead to my disappoint, I saw more garden ornaments and crap then car parts. The NZ meets are generally much better

In saying that still the biggest and best by far has been the Rocky meets. about 1000 x more car stuff and far less crap.

still the place where you find the bargain you were looking for is the best place of all
