Just fitted an LJ Brake Booster and Master Clylinder to my LC four door. Originally had four wheel drums, now I've fitted LX Stubs, Rotors, Calipers, etc. As the car is still off the road, I haven't tested things out, but have been told I need to change the whole rear brake assemblies on either side or i'll lock up the rears every time I hit the brake. I realise the assemblies from a disc front end LC/LJ would work, but I have an LH banjo diff sitting in my back yard. Does anyone know if the rear brake assemblies are a viable option? Are they the same as LC/LJ?

Close
But not exactly the same
The wheel cylinders might still be alittle large for it and cause lockup

All you need to do to change it to what disc front had is change the cylinders and shoes.
So you need N1132 shoes and a pair of P5573 wheel cylinders and its all done

Easier than stuffing around with the later stuff that still might not work

thank you kindly, dattoman, you saved me a world of drama. you hear so many conflicting reports from so many people, it's easy to get a bit dazzled.
So cheers. :spoton:
