Hey all. the other day i was lookin for stuff to do to the LJ, so i painted the air cleaner.

1. remove air cleaner cover.
2. Strip paint off outside. (wire wheel works good)
3. Paint in black (or red, or whatever you want really)
4. leave to dry, reassemble.

I was bored then and im bored now, but its a good, cheap, easy way to clean up your engine bay.

Yeah i know, and it looks pretty good. I went black, just coz black was the only reasonable paint we had in the shed. it was eithr black, sky blue or forest green...

and i was bored.

I have one off a VK with the "2850" Sticker on it, im gunna put that on when i get some time.

Have some fun and slap a 454 sticker on there. Just make sure the cops don't see it, or they may make you get an engineers cert.

I wouldn't be suprised hahaha

It's unbelievable the way a 253 air cleaner instantly allows you to drive a 308/355 etc on your Ps isn't it?

No, because surely it has too many cylinders to be a 454. So they'll just think im a punk kid tryin to make my car look cool.
