Can anyone let me know how to remove the headlight switch knob properly, so that I can remove the lower dash panel, then refit the knob?

Thanks

Hi knoath.

1. Disconnect battery.
2. Switch headlights ON.
3. Put your hand up behind the dash & press the small button on the side of the switch itself. The knob (& shaft) will then simply pull out of the dash.
4. With the shaft now gone, the 'nut' can then be undone using a broad bladed screwdriver.

Dr Terry.
