vk commodore style nose cone to fit lx

hi all, was at a old panel shop on the week end and saw a vk commodore Brock style nose cone to fit a lx torana. its a fiberglass one painted in black colour. the front bar wraps around the the front wheel like a lx spoiler. never seen one of them before. anyone else seen one ?? and i didn't have my camera on me.

I've seen them on ebay for sale, but haven't seen one on a car

There used to be a black hatchback in mt druitt with a commodore nosecone....I wonder if it came off the same car.

They probably stole the rest of the car and left the nose cone behind.

There called a Monza front end arnt they? Same as on the Mad Max Interceptor.

Best wheels ever!!!

There were a couple of different aftermarket fronts made for them in the olden days Woodsy.

One of them used a Commodore grill.(shudders)..

I think that is called the Trans Am front.


The Mad Max ones are the Arcadipane fronts.

planet video in mt lawley may have it they stock "obscure" titles
there was another one on canning hwy that did the low volume ones too
if not then try pitstop bookshop in perth city they do dvd's every now and then
if ya find a copy tell us how much and where

Torana Designer, Phil Zmood did the "Monza" fronted LH. He nick named it "The Green Lizard" cause he likes Green. Was to be a GM Rotary powered show car but when the GM Rotary engine was scrapped so was the show car.

So has anyone actually got a picture of this VK Brock front or the Monza front grafted onto an LX, even a picture of the "Green Lizard"
