Hi Guys.

Cleveland for sure, look where the top hose/thermostat outlet is located, & the shape & size of the rocker cover.

Also it appears to be in the engine bay of an XB Falcon. XA/XB/XC/XD/XE V8s were all Cleveland type V8s.

Dr Terry.

cheapest upgrade would be to source a 351 crank, keep the 302 rods and get a set of ACL Race series pistons. What they call a 'long rod' combo. They make a bit more power than an std Clevo. Decent cam, a little tickle of the heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap ARP rod bolts plus a balance and any assoc. machining and it will spit out 300+ at the treads easily. :)

Thanks for the tip on the the setup Dave. I had heard something about keeping the 302 rods, increases the torque yeah? Already have the performer manifold on 2V heads and some sort of holley, looks to be about a 650 I think, havn't had a proper look.

Cheers,
