Would a vehicle with engineering certificate from VIC be OK in NSW? IE,if i was to buy such a vehicle requiring engineering (For MODS)from Victoria (registered) Would i need to have it engineered again if to reregistered in NSW? I was never too sure bout this part..

The RTA has a list of accredited engineers that are approved by them from interstate. It is VSI 15 and can be obtained from off their website.

Hope this helps

If the car hasn't been certified by one of these engineers - and sometimes even if they have been - you will need to get it looked at to change the rego over.

In the case of NSW to QLD you need to get it looked at again no matter what, as QLD has the Blue Plate system.
