Does anyone know the exact size of these and also the sway bar bolts at the rear..?
If replaced, is there a certain tensile that should be used?
My originals are looking a little ordinary, if I cant replace, Ill sandblast the head of the bolt and nut and 2 pac. But if I could find some new ones in Black that would be better.

These ones from the Chev's are the same as the Torana ones. The set I have here are about 2 or 3 threads longer from memory.
I seem to recall having trouble getting this size in passivated zinc from the local fastener places but I havn't tried for a fair few years.

I wouldn't be using nylocks on suspension bolts personally, I would go with the conelocks.
The black oxide coated ones won't stay that way long down underneath the car - you would be better off using the zinc plated ones and painting them after you have done them up.
They have to be grade 8 bolts. I would have to double check the exact size as i havn't measured one in a while and cannot remember the length. If you have your old ones there, you could always measure them.

I had to get some slightly longer ones for the adjustable upper arms (thicker steel) recently and the local fastener place didn't have any problems matching them, they are just standard imperial high tensile items
