I found out the hard way this morning that it is an offence to have personalised plates attached to your vehicle without the matching rego label and certificate. Despite what i was told by the people at the dept of transport the police officer showed me the code in his ticket book for this.

Also if you attach personalised plates id go in a week or so later and check that they have done it.

I have always pulled the rego label and stuck the bit of paper on the windscreen or dash. Did he bust you for having non matching plates and label I am guessing?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm you wouldnt find all the dramas ive had with rego and plates amusing, considering this has been carrying on since Feb and is still going.I guess im lucky in that they said take it home and get it sorted out asap. Dont drive it anywhere other than home. Kinda wrecked my day cause i was on my way to willowbank
