G'day all,
I need to fit a scoop to cover an exposed air filter to keep the engineer happy. There's a lot of options but the one I like the most is a reverse cowl style scoop blended into the bonnet (rather than bolted). Only problem is I've got no idea how to do it and I've heard horror stories about the joins cracking. I want it to look spot on! I've seen full fibreglass bonnets with intergrated scoops and I like the idea, but I think the engineer wouldn't... What's the best way to do it?
Cheers,
Broads

Engineer will probably like the idea of a full glass scoop rather than a glass one on a steel bonnet
If theres a hole in the steel
Under our WA laws if anything protrudes over the bonnetline the scoop needs to be made of the same material as the bonnet
Alpha fibreglass do these bonnets... ready to bolt on
Check their website or facebook... plenty of pics

Cheers Datto, I'll check 'em out. I thought a fibreglass bonnet would be frowned upon, but I'm happy to run one if I can. Will suss it out with the engineer.
