can anybody advise how is best to remove the wiper knob on the console. It appears that there is a small pin holding the knob on. Does this simply slide out ??
any guidence would be appreciated

Gently push a small object (piece of wire, small screwdriver etc) into the hole while carefully withdrawing the knob.
