Just to let you all know, Peter was retrenched from good old Qantas this week. We had known over the last few weeks that it was on the cards, but we werent 100% sure if he as going to go or not. Anyhow seeing we are like most Aussies and are paying the house and the family car off, I am sure you can all understand that we have had other things on our minds. There isnt alot of call for Boeing 767 - 747 mechanics in Australia so we werent sure what the heck was going to happen to us.
Anyone who was wanting a check done could you resend them please. I was so upset with what was going on I deleted half of the emails that came in over the last few weeks.
The upside is that Peter already has another job, so I dont have to sell the torana now. I also got really worried that god forbid, I might have to get off my arse and go to work.
