Hi
I am looking at getting my steering rack rebuilt ( Lx Torana), just wondering if anyone in SA (prefferably in the Adelaide Hills) has recomendations of where to get it done? I am also happy to do an exchange rack, again if some one had had sone done recently at a good price.

I honestly can't remember properly but I think it was $220 exchange. Could've been something like $250 without exchange. Might've been less than that?
They said my old rack was so buggered I could have it back and fill up my bin instead of theirs. Oopsy- yes was way overdue. Not my fault, it was the previous owner.
I think I picked it up the next day.
I got new cotter pins and nuts from Holden's for $16.

Repco and Bursons also do C/O racks. Re-boxed from a major steering company.

the guy, arthur is a bit eccentric but he is a good bloke that knows his stuff..
workshop is a complete mess..
he is sort of semi retired but does this to keep busy, so if your good at the ol' chin wag and mention cash payment you may get it cheaper
he likes fishing.. lol
