I got to fitting the door and boot rubbers which I bought from Bette Auto Rubbers and WOW!! they were perfect!! So easy to install and happy with the fit. No slaming the doors but a nice tight close. All the clips lined up and all I needed to do was trim the join and glue together..
They are a BIG thumbs up from me!!!

??????
The rubbers I bought from The Rubber Shop needed no trimming or gluing.....! They were a perfect fit.

The door rubbers came as an open strip.. I just had to trim where they join and glue them together.. They recommended super glue so thats what I used.... all sweet!!!
Maybe the LH/X are diff as they are one joined run?
The boot was one piece though...

HB,LC,LJ and TA front and rear door seals have to be joined during installation (with doors fitted and check links installed), so irrespective of brand they will not be pre joined.

I bought my front door rubbers from betta rubber and I'm happy with the product but I have to slam my doors to close them. Perhaps an adjustment is needed?

Report back on the door seals.
Got some rare spares ones and fitted them up yesterday.
They are a fair bit different to the older ones they sell, much softer.
Seals fit well and doors now close like a new car! Very easy.
Cheers
Thought you wouldn't be dissapointed.
Cheers
Dave.

Only time will tell which brands last the distance. 5 yrs, 10yrs, 15yrs??? Personally I'm not really bothered, if I don't have to slam the door so hard that one day the paint might fall off then I'm happy.

I bought a complete rubber kit from Beta Auto (LX sedan) two weeks ago.
Ive put everything in other than the front and rear windscreen rubbers (not ready for the screens to go in yet)
The bailey channels and door seal fit fantastic. (How nice are new bailey channels!!) Once the strikers were installed ,the doors do need to shut pretty hard for them to close. The door gaps are now out by around 5mm. Im guessing over time they will settle.
The door belts were tricky to install. They needed to be trimmed 7mm off one end to fit. Destroyed my fingers putting them in too! But once trimmed and installed properly, they look and work great too.
