After months of indecision the Ballart City Council announced today that they are giving the operation of next years Ballarat Swap meet to the combined Rotary Clubs of Ballarat.
With just 3 months to organise what normally takes 9 will be task and a half.
The Federation of Vintage Cars Clubs (Vic), who run the Bendigo event, have a finger in the pie.
Cannot tell you what's happening about site booking at this point but will consult the local rag tomorrow and see what it says. Failing that I will consult my local Rotary Club member who is also a car nut.

The Ballan Swap is a week later. The Ford Boys were trying to organise one at Newstead on the same day perhaps thinking the Ballarat event would not go ahead. I think they plan to run it regardless. These are the sons of Eddie Ford (Restored Cars) and they run "Chopped" at Newstead.

Cost yet to be decided but probably the same as last year ($55.00)

Layout will be same as previous years.
