This is my VH SL/E. factory 308 T350.

Its a very rare car. One of only 30 made and they were given to the top 30 holden dealers around australia as a gift for being top sellers. They were very early in the model and fully optioned with everything available. P/steering, air con, trip computer etc, and had a unique paint job and interior. They also had the same HDT spec engine and running gear that were in the VC brocks.

Mine is very original but since i want to make it a bit more of a daily driver ive put a 304 EFI from a VN and a T5 gearbox in it. Ive put the engine in storage in the shed. Ive had acustom chip made up and its good for 135kw at the rear wheels.

Goes like stink off a monkey!

Heres some pics.

Love it! I wonder how many T30's survive.

It would be alot nicer to drive with the newer drivetrain, very tidy VH. Best of the older commodores before they went plastic.

If you swap engine covers from left to right you wont have the gap at the front :)

Thanks guys for all the comments. I got it a couple of years ago when I really wanted a VC brock but they were rapidly climbing out of my price range. Found this and really dug it. Have been on the commodore forums since and found out about around 5 or 6 that are accounted for. Who knows where the rest are. there was only 30 and they were sent around Australia so they could be anywhere. Most prob gone to god methinks..

Yella theres nothing shabby about your VH. thats an awesome machine. The 2 tone SL/Es with factory 5 litres are the most desirable of the old commys. Yours is certainly up there.

I wil update it with some newer pics when i take some. Unfortunately being a bit of a space cadet I forgot the handbrake a few months ago and it rolled into the shed damaging the front left corner. It at the panel beaters now getting the front apron and guard fixed.

Heres some pics of the genuine matching numbers sandman I dragged out of the shed and put back together and sold off last year to fund the whole 304 T5 conversion and some other smaller toys.
