Unfortunately I've managed to sever my Archillies tendon, so I'm unable to attend www.drivebathurst.com this year.
I entered this event last year in the M3 and it was absolutely awesome.
I completed around 40 laps of The Mountain over 2 days. The first few runs are behind a pacecar to show you the lines. Jim Richards led my group.
After lunch on Day 1 you are unleashed and go at your own pace in groups.
Day 2 you're on your own, however you can have an instructor drive your car (you sit in passenger seat) and show you some tips, no additional charge. I enlisted Peter Fitzgerald for a session.
Not bad for an old bloke.. Each session is 20-25mins iirc.
Standard fee is $3,415. I'm offering my entry for $1700. Organisers have given the OK for me to transfer my entry as my withdrawal is injury related.
The event is next week. Scrutineering Tuesday afternoon 8th November. Event is Wed/Thurs. Good pub session on the Thursday night.

Looks like it's been snapped up - $1500 was offered and accepted, He tells me it's sold pending payment hitting his account.
