G'day All,
Just a friendly reminder that historic winton is this weekend. Spoke to a guy from the Austin 7's club who are organising it and he reckons it's going to be awesome. They estimate 10,000 spectators. If you are bringing your pride & joy down they have a section allocated it doesn't matter what time you get there either. I'll be bringing down the SLR 5000 so if you see it come & say hi as I won't be far away.

Well sadly i won't be going this year.

Next year should be locked in hopefully.

I'll take plenty of pics and would love to share them with you all.....but when you are a dinosaur and battle to do a simple post I reckon trying to put up the pics would be nigh on impossible.......where are you Heath (bestest buddy) crawl crawl.... :rockon:

i got some mate a nice as lj xu1 think it was a bathurst one u got a email i can send em too matey also i think i got a orange slr 5000 and a red 1 as well
good to see no cars got trashed this year like last year

Chevy_253 torana I think you were looking at my pride & joy...it was in the c/park near of all things a land rover???....I had a sign in the front windscreen. I only saw another xu-1 (green metallic) and a couple of SLR's....plenty of other makes but nothing to match our torries. Mate and I drove down from Wagga Wagga ...it was a great drive and the car never missed a beat. I had to stop going back to the car during the day as I got caught up everytime showing all under the bonnet and telling them about the car.

yes i think it was yours dam it looked perfect i tried to get some good photos but i went there twice and both times people all around it its a dam fine machine ya got there mate wit such a rare trim colour
