Not a good weekend...Lower right shock mount had never been bolted in correctly b4 I bough the car...it missed the slot...and was slowly working its way out...I just happened to make a rears suspension change justb4 and thought it was that...The shock base pulled out of the hub at speed..back right dug in and I ended on my head...

The culprit...see the slot where the bolt should have been and see the shiny silver part where it was...underneath you can see where the bolt was moving down and rubbing until it allowed the shock to put out completely...at speed...ugly...

you and Noosa Rory, seems to be where it goes wrong. hope your ok, although you look ok in the pic there by the looks of it. whats going to happen to the micro machine now? is it stuffed or repairable?

repairable...just some metal work and a few fibreglass bits.
