Practice on Friday and racing both Saturday and Sunday.
There is a huge field nominated with a large variety of cars.
There is only one Torana entered in the Improved Production (my Hatch helper Dave's ex car, his son Wayne hasn't entered the Hatch).
There is however 6 LJ's entered in the Historic Group N.
I'll be out there Saturday for a look and to get some pics.

The competition at the front of the field in Improved Production is tight with at least 8 cars well and truly in the running to take out the title. The vast diverstity of cars in that 8 is pleasing to see and watch.
Sadly the only Torana had a binggle in the first race in a near back of the grid starting incident that claimed a couple of cars. I didn't get a shot of the damage but it has a busted nose and was retired from the meeting.
Plenty of Toranas in the Historic Touring cars to watch with one very quick one over from Victoria. One of the S.A competitors has a new Boss Mustang that goes every bit as good as it sounds. Watching it weave it's way through the field from the back was well worth going out there to watch.

The New National No.1 has been taken out by S.A 55 in the Mazda 808
The first 3 cars across the line were all S.A cars.
The second car was the No.71 Mazda 808. Both these Mazda 808's are completely different in the engine department
Well done to the S.A boys that did well and thanks to the interstaters for making it a great weekend of racing for this category.

And NOT for the sake of the accident, but I wish I had know you were out there as I would have come out for a look.
