Anyone know if you can put in a v8/trimatic & still use the column shift+linkage?

Can't see why not, the tri-matic sits in the same postion in all lc/lj's. But you need your exhaust it fit down the same side as well.

Good idea if you can.
Floor shifters for autos are my pet hate, they just take up so much unnecessary space in the middle of the car......all in the name of style and not function.....
