Before I buy new tyres, I'm thinking of getting some new rims. Now, I'm sure Volvo wheels will fit, but as they are probably expensive, even from a wreckers, what other cars fit? I know on the old board there was a list, does anyone have a copy of this list?

Volvo and HK are the two most common fitments. Both are normally fairly cheap. There are plenty of other rims with the correct stud pattern, but a lot of them have other issues with centre bore size or offset. HK 14x6 steel rims are still available brand new.

Avoid the 144, as they are 15", but normally only 5" wide. 244 have a better range. Avoid the FWD ones, as the offset is a bit excessive. 15, 16 & 17" alloys are commonly available.

Most of those rims listed on that link won't fit.
