Gday all.. Now I know when anyone asks this question the replies are why bother- just get a 6 variety, much less hassle. Well for the foolish (aka myself)- just what is involved with dropping a chev in~ and I do like the idea of a grandma mobile with some balls (So i do want to keep the 4cyl front)
As I have no access to such a vehicle (until hopefully a months time)/never had one either- I was hoping those in the know could give a basic rundown.

What I would love is advice from anyone who has done it.
- by memory, theres a gay secondary radiator support taking up half the bay (REMOVE)
- steering alteration?
- brake /spring upgrades / front end x-member swap with 6? / engine mount mods
- chassis strengthening
- firewall molestation??
The donk has elec water pump, belt drive setup, jesel dizzy- so yes I would like to move her back as far as possible (and should be able, more than usual- compared to std dizzy setup)..but she shouldnt take up too much *cough* room at the front, and the rad Im using is a very small number.
Box yet to be decided- but probably 2spd for clearance- if extensive mods are required to firewall/tranny tunnel anyway3 spd it will be.

-pipes cutom fab'd
-Diff upgrade / trailing arms etc blah blah

More concerned with the fitting of the donk at moment. Anyone who knows, please jump in with your suggestions.

Cheers all.

they fit into a HB so they will fit into a LC 4cyl as they are the same from the firewall forward.
I will try and find some pics of teh GASSED HB, it has a SBC in it
