Anybody got any info, or ever got a car onto Rally Car rego in NSW? What are the requirements, etc? Just thinking, instead of trailering our race rana around, might just put it on Rally Car rego and drive it to the events, alla early HDT days.

Gotta love NSW. Yay, it exists, but not on their website. $245/year for 1200kg vehicle. Must have CAMS permit number, and be for CAMS events. Just loving it. Hillclimb track is only 2km away, so should be good.

I heard of it before, but thought it was in the good old days, cause info is hard to find on it. I rang RTA today cause I couldn't find anything on it. Must be a dedicated race/rally car though, and still has to comply with all the roadworthy stuff.

Ahh ver interesting.. could be good info for a rally driver out there! Not for me personally!

What are the restrictions? Must it be to/from events/service type thing? Or unrestricted?

To and from event, and must have a CAMS log booked car, and the CAMS permit number in the log book for the particular event. Which is a bit unfair, especially since there are another two groups other than CAMS now.
