Have all plumbed but just doesnt seem right.

car seems to run fine with fuel making its way around ok, but when i turn car off its makes a sucking noise. also is leaking onto my diff from somewhere but think this may be due to fuel vapour line not being plumbed in.

the returns to the main tank seem to be an overkill also??

have attached some pics, any feedback is appreciated :)

The sucking noise could be one of the lines from the surge tank syphoning back.

What is the blue line connected to?

What are the two fittings at the top of the surge tank connected to?

the blue line is my overflow and returns back into main tank i didnt have the right conection at the time so i put the larger line in. prob should be at top to get maximum use out of tank but cant see this being a problem??

the two on the top.... one is the lift pump entering cell. the other is the return from regulator. is anything out of place?

I suspect the blue line is syphoning back. Swap it with either the lift pump or return.

Lift pump has to supply volume to surge tank / fuel cell which is sufficient to meet the demands of full throttle/load/RPM, it is not variable speed, so at idle all excess fuel is returned to the fuel tank.
I don't understand the rest of the "RED" lines unless they are the same as VB to VL and in that case the Vapour return line should be connected to the filler neck..

What is the small black box with the red lines connecting to it? fuel vapour reservoir (mounted on the filler neck ) or carbon cannister.

Hot fuel tip (101) fuel pump/regulator/surge tank as close to fuel tank as possible " to minimise heat pickup" insulate fuel rails and fuel lines in engine bay, (even in a deadend system)

Cheers
