FFS! How hard can it be to get a pic of a car in the colour you are thinking of? I've been to panel beaters and rung around a heap of paint shops and nobody uses colour swatches any more. Too many complaints that the inch by inch swatch doesn't look the same on a 3mx2m car! Go figure.
Anyway all the advice I got was "find a car in the colour you like and then just look it up on line". Or even better "hang around and ask them if you can check there paint code". That one sounded a little too stalker for my liking. So, I found 2 cars I like the colour of. 1. Nissan X-trail year? 2. Holden v8 ss ute year 2000 something. Both purple, turns out the LC is for Her after all. I thought the Holden colour was better, went to Holden site to try and track it down. NO. Could be cadbury violet.
So, does anybody have a pic of a car that is definitely cadbury violet so I can check it out and then maybe get an order in, or does anybody know the names of other later model Holden colours that I could maybe check out. Purples please.
Thanks
Moose

Oh and is phantom a Holden purple? I've googled the shite out of the co ours and in the images they put up one or two of a colour (close but not the same colour) and then a heap of other colours and different cars and, etc. The only definite I've found is ford menace. It's not a bad colour though, I hate to admit.

Bazza! You legend!!! Thanks heaps for that. Ride me sideways if I could find that bloody colour! Well, that's solved that little mystery for me. Now all I need is a freshly under coated body to put it on, and if these tropical downpours keep coming around every afternoon like they have been, that could be a fair way off yet. I was going to take a bit of time of next week for prep work but body filler, and I'm sure we all have just a little, don't like the wet. That and I'm working in an open car port, I don't like getting wet too much either if it's avoidable.
Thanks again all
