As the titles says, fuse is OK, could it be the switch on the pedal? Also how the heck do you change the brake light globes? I've undone the 2 Phillips screws on the light assembly i could see but I don't want to break it. By the way it's a sedan. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. John.

I think you have to get to the globes from inside the boot.
It could be the switch on the pedal if they are both not working and the fuse is ok.
I'd swap the fuse anyway, cause sometimes they look alright but are not.

The switch sometimes siezes behind the pedal. Happened on Dads monaro. But it was a $50 switch from holden lol

You can get to the eye-level brake globe from inside the boot. Easiest one to check...
Side brake lights- undo the 2 screws and give the whole light a bump sideways to the outside of the body.
Bypass the brake pedal switch with a paperclip in the plug first and see if they light up.

if all your lights are gone it's more than likely a common item like the switch or fuse

For some reason these commodores go through brake light bulbs quickly, If your high level light is working it will be the bulbs for sure. Once the screws are undone you need to give it a sharp bump with the palm of your hand in the forward direction and the assembly will pop out.. And as Holden always says instalation is reverse of the removal procedure.

And when you break the little clips that hold it in... off to the dealer with you
They have wiring loom issues too. ... mostly VT but VX did too
So sometimes you need to replace the short loom too

If a rear spoiler with brake light, it may be a short in the loom that runs through the boot lid. Pretty common.
