Hello to all and thank you for reading.
My 17 yr old daughter is currently doing fun raiseing for the locial Rotory Club and PCYC in the Beenleigh area.( She has been nominated to represent the Beenleigh PCYC in the Beenleigh Miss Cane Queen Quest)
Would like to know if anyone would have any ideas on companies or person who would be willing to help raise funds/ or make a donation.

Around here the schools, guides,and other clubs and associations do pie drives or chocolate drives.

Maybe approach your local Bunnings or electrical stores to see if they will do up a gift basket for you to raffle off.

Thats just a couple of ideas, i'll ask Tracie what other fund raisers she has been involved with tonight.

What about a charity cruise dave something along those lines or a car wash day that seems to work ok just some ideas

Unable to do the car wash but the car cruse could be a good idea, If anyone is in the Beenleigh area on Saturday we will be at Beenleigh market place infront of woolies doing hot dogs and drinks from 10am till 4pm.
we have lots of differn't raffels so come one come all.

Hold a baby show/competition, you will get millions of pageant wannabe mums wanting to show off their snotty nosed screamer. Another is a photo competion also for babies & toddlers, these are good money spinners. Try getting some photographers in the area to sponsor a package as a prize.

I used to raise money this way years ago and did quite well. Well Multicap and SIDS did well out of my efforts.

Dave, one of the former cane queens works at Bendigo Bank at the hyperdome.
Might be worth dropping a note it for her to call your girl. She may have some good suggestions.

well just up dateing what we have today.
We now have a car wash as it was prevously said no to by the PCYC as one of the other girls in the quest is haveing one aswell but is now all systems go.
we have several car care packs for rafels and car service packs to rafel off ranging from $149 - $220.
Spot light sets for all the 4x4 people and lots of Wine.
We are waiting for gift packs to arrive from others to see what they have sent us.
We are also in talks with the head officer at the Beenleig PCYC about haveing a car show in their car park.

We will be at Market Place in Beenleigh on Saturday between 10am and 4pm for a bbq in front of woolies.
If you are in the area come down and say hi and grab a bite to eat with a cold soft drink and buy some rafle tickets for some of the great prize's up for grabs.

Well just letting you all know. We had a very good day today. We where aiming for $300+ and made $650+ $160+ on rafle tickets.
Still looking foras much support as possible.

Just so you all know, We will be holding a triveia night on the 31st of march at the Beenleigh PCYC.
Lots of wonderful prize's to be won.
Tickets are $20 each and includs a set menu dinner. Tickets can be bought at the door or prior to the night from the Beenleigh PCYC. BYO all drinks including alcohol.

Well just letting you all know, we will be at maca's in Beenleigh tonight between 5pm and 8pm. We will be selling rafle tickets and have a 100 block wall with priz's on to be won, hopeing the rain stays away so we can have members from the PCYC there with demo display's.10% of all sales tonight will be donated to Melina for her fun raiseing.

Well just a quick update.
The triveria night has been canned due to lack of intrest. We are going to be holsing a car show around the 21st of next month. it is still undersided as to the location as we are waiting to hear back from the owner of Holden Heaven. If we can't hold it there it will be at the Beenleigh PCYC.

Just a quick up date the car show will be on the 22. I know this will clash with oter shows and club runs but we did'nt get to pic the date as the manager at the PCYC did and won't lissen to us.

well so u all know we where going to hold a car show on the 22/4, But this has now been caned by the PCYC as they don't want to attract the wrong sort of car people and don't want to compet with the other shows on the day. so thanks anyway all.
