Small diameter booster options for LJ?

I have a standard 6 cyl booster in my Lj with 308. I recently went to fit my new rocker covers but they are too tall and the d/s one hits the brake booster.
What are my options for a smaller diameter booster that will fit up to the existing bracket etc?
I know the XU-1 style is an option but they seem a little thin on the ground. I would also like to keep away from remote booster as it may require me to resubmit the car for certification.
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks

Anything smaller will give less boost
The XU1 booster isn't smaller so thats not an option anyway
There is an 8" hotrod style booster I have used before on Fords.. .but it means changes to master and plumbing too...aswell as adapting the booster to the bracket
Bit of an exercise

thanks for the replies guys. My error on the XU1 booster, not sure why I thought it was a smaller diameter. I am ok with plumbing changes if necessary.
Perhaps remote is the best option???

So the cost gets up there
Budget over $1000 if using new parts. .... just to clear rocker covers ??
Doable... but you need to weigh up your options

Was hoping to find a cost effective solution to achieve the desired result. Unfortunately that may not be possible, so I will consider modifying my covers.
Thanks

Not yet, My oil leak fix turned into a bit more than expected - repaint engine bay, strip xmember etc lol, sure you know how it goes.
However I have been talking to a chap that fitted some sort of Mitsi lancer (he thinks) booster.
Seen the photos and it looked good and he reckoned it fitted up no probs, also used std mastercylinder.
I'm not far from sorting it = will update as and when I get there
Cheers
