That's the carby I need looks like I have a pollution one but the base number is the same on the two the other spare carby I have that is a pre pollution one has 2376061 bxv-2 on it's base part and it looks a lot smaller body wise not to sure what this one was off not a LH LX Torana that's for sure as it does not have the mount for the accelerator cable. Is your setup up for sale by any chance and what are the part numbers on the intake one of mine that looks the same has 2825951 and under that it has Holden 4-3 cheers.

3rd pic... lotsa of glare... but its got that 2825951 -88 -2 ... all in a line... not underneath
wot179 probably has about 40 of the manifolds you want hanging from his shed wall

My ute chassis has what looks like the same stuff on it... manifold has 2825951 ... then underneath it 6-4

Not looking to sell anything at this stage though

Had another look at my intake manifolds and one I've got has the number 2825951-88-1 wonder what these extra numbers mean engine size perhaps? I take it that 2825951 is the part number as they all have the same number on them.

Looking again at the carby of yours and if it's an original setup all I have to do is swap the tops on mine to have the same setup.

Hi guys can someone tell me if the intake manifolds of the LH series have a date code on the so far I've found 88-1 88-2 88-3 88-4 do these stand for year codes say 71 72 73 74 to match these? Cheers.

I have an original 173 red out of a prepollution LX (6/76) w. stromberg carb & manifold.

Wont be able to get to it for a couple of weeks but I'll see what I can dig up if it's of any use to you.

Probably even have the exhaust manifold somewhere.

Is it really that important ?

I have a few manifolds here... can't see any dates cast into them
Lots of different identification numbers though

Don't know will the picky ones pull me up on it cause I've got a near perfect 88-1 cast one I can use.

I guess if no-one can answer the question... who will know ?

My LH catalogue says the part # is 2825869
My LX book has the same #

However... not uncommon for casting numbers and part #'s to be slightly different
As for what the other numbers mean... Dr Terry might know

I have the Bendix-Stromberg with the number 2376618 in a circle at top and 2376061 BXV-2 at base,

on a 2820781 manifold here, and cannot find what this is off.
