My brand spankers 16" B45's are only a week or two away now, so ill be needing to source some tyres to run on the old girl!!

I'm running 225/60/14 Yokohama A509's at the moment, and would like to stick with that overall diameter or less... IIRC its an OD of 627mm with the A509's. I want to run 225's on the rear and 205's on the front, so what profile would i need to meet my requirements?

I was thinking:
225/45/16 - Overall diameter should be ok
205/45/16 - Still ok with overall diameter, gives it a bit of a drag stance!

Failing that, i would go 40 series profile. Does this seem ok to you guru's?

I also used a similar tyre size calculator to work out tyre sizes for the 16's.
on my flareless LX Hatch.
Ended up putting on 205 45 16's and 245 45 16's
No dramas!
Working out wheel width and offset is another story.
