bathurst motor festival 2012

went to bathurst over easter for 3 days of fun with the nswrrc.45 cars showed up with a variety of aussie muscle offerings vc,vh,vk and vl in group c or a form,4 xe falcons in group c form which were just awesome,2 hatchbacks,2 lj's a close replica of the 427 monaro the red one,a 2005 r8 ,a hk monaro and various others that ive forgotten.
did 26 laps over the 3 days and managed to get down to 2.48 secs so was pretty stoked with that.the car ran perfectly all weekend except for a front uni that got a bit noisy on the last session you see it plays havoc with the camera down conrod.listen for the liftoff going over the hump on mountain straight you have to hang on and the drifts coming out of the chase.no wonder people keep going back for more.ryan turned up in his top looking hatch and stuck his go pro in my car so some hd stuff will come soon onto utube.

t56 and 3.55 9 inch limo with 31 spline billets .3 inch shaft

Are you limited to what mods you can do to the engine, or can you run whatever you like, ie 355 crank/rods, VN type heads etc?

open slather but keep in mind the more highly strung something is your chances of lasting the 3 days are less.

Sounds good, as much as i like quarter mile racing, i'm keen to build something to go around corners & i have the perfect car to do so. When the time comes (early next year all going well) i hope i can look you up for advice etc on how to set the car up & replace the auto with a similar set up to your's, thinking more T5 as i loved them in the VR-VS Commies i've owned.

yeah . 3 inch youve got me there
even nasal spray wont get me out of that one
3 inch if you must know but i do have to ask why so curious ?????
and as an aside ive been told it doesnt look that fast down conrod well note the power poles how quick they flash by
