k-mac sway bars - worth it?

hi all, i rang up k-mac today to price up a set of adjustable "bathurst style" sway bars, and was quite shocked at the price tag. by the time i convert currency , frieght it over, and get stung by customs i'm in for close to $1500nzd!

is this money well spent? just weighing up my options.

beter sway bars are well worth the upgrade but that price is a bit much . whiteline do an upgrade and would be a fair bit cheaper than that.
