Has anyone come accross this before the door handle is too big for the arm rest or the arm rest is too small for the door handle.

You can see in the pics below the thin part of the arm rest is bulging out at the door handle.

Any information is much appreciated.

Yeah it just might be Brad, you'll notice in the pics the handle protrudes past the arm rest as well, hope rates will swap them over.

definately hq type handle
as the section you grip with your fingers to pull up
is about 5 / 6 mm wider than a lh/lx/uc type handle
explains why it pushes the thin section of the lh/lx
armrest outwards
hense! you cannot substitute hq door pulls for lh/lx
cheers

Thanks guys.

Well I went and exchanged the leavers at the local rares, got to the counter with the new LH/LX ones, one of them was for a HQ but in the LH/LX packet.
Anyway I got back home, a little bit keen to fit the leavers, nice n shiney, put it on and was sitting a bit high, no problem, readjust one "tooth" down, now it sits too low, WTF.
So now Im back with the slightly pitted ones, there not too bad but would have been good to have smooth and shiny new ones.
That is what I call a major error, as no matter what it always looks wrong. If the shape was a little different I could live with it, but for it not to sit level, is crap.

nice door trims they are the same as mine :)

How did you go for fitment, I had / have issues with the door closing fully due to the carpet on the bottom section

No real issue realy, other than snapping 5 new door card clips, no big deal, just the idiots fault who installed them. (me)

Yeah I got mine from eastern auto in Vic. the top of my doors (trim) is a little different, not standard, but I like it. instead of it being long grain black, its slate. Also have slate on the A, B & C pillars, again just a little different. B)

The arm rest doesn't stand out like that ^^, the whole lot blends in quite well.

Hi Brad, I had a chat with Les, he said they were getting remade as we speak, so shouldnt be too long, I just used the best of the handfull I had, I figured there easy to change over later on, when they come in I'll purchase some then.

Cheers Paul.
