I was just thinking about what wheels I really want on my LX Hatch.
I have 15" weldys but I am thinking of going bigger.
I no 16's fit, but I would not mind putting 18's on her.
Has any one done this or are they just too big????

2" above standard fitment is legal in Vic. I did a Mazda Astina RWC yesterday. The tyre placard had 14" and 15" ratings. The car had 17's so I passed it.

ohh, your talking about wheels, I have 15 inch wheels on my LH. I have had 17's on it they are as big as I would go.

Could people without flared LH/LXs with 14 inch or bigger wheels please post some pics, I have a theory that my stock bodied SL will look tough with bigger wheels (currently has 13" hotwires) or send them to [email protected]

All these ^^^^ big rim's look good guy's, i have 14x8 245x50x14 & 15x10 265x50x15 seen in pic below, next time i need tyres on the back i'll be getting 295's.

last time I checked the rules (and hence why teh Galant passed rw) the rules for vic related only to the width not the rim size and instead calced on overall diameter.

i used to have a chart from pirellie that stated plus 1 plus 2 and plus 3 sizes you could go to from standard.
if anydody has one please insert it in specs section. its a very handy cross reference.
