standard silver type colours for torana's were:
10974 Platinum '69
12190 Silver Mist '70
13122 Baroda Silver (MK 1) '71
13160 Baroda Silver (MK 11) '71, '72
15969 Anniversary Silver '73

and some darker silver/grey's
15333 Gunmetal '73
15336 Sable '73

I have probably missed a few or included a few that you wouldnt class as a basic silver. cant really help with pictures, try searching for those colours, and I cant really think of any of the LH-X silvers

IMHO an all silver torry doesnt tickle my fancy... but with some SLR strips or black outs it would look really good... But thats my opinion!

I really do like the silver on the newer commodores. (paint code 490G, from memory) This looks deep and is not overly dark. I think it would look neato on a Torana.

Cheers

thanks 830hp,
Photos can be a bit deceiving(not sure if correct spelling)paint work does have crazy cracks here & there & a few minor dents & scratches here & there also.I am pretty fussy with this car & want to have it done right in time for the torana nationals that are supposed to be held in s.a in 2008 (hopefully).

George.
