Well the torana project i was hoping for will be put on hold for a while.
My dad made me an offer to good to refuse.
Around 13 to 14 years ago my parents brought u JBA sports tourer kit car.
Dew to my dads back problems not long after they got it he was unable to do much to it.
They are styled off of the old MG's.
This is how it stands now.

all the gards r on motor and gearbox r in.
It uses ford cortina suspention and diff.

The motor is a toyota 18R-GEU 2ltr twin over head cam with the modified head that yamahar
designed and its using a 5 speed box.
When its done it will be around 900 to 1000 kgs.
So it should scoot along pretty well.

Once iv finished some renos im doing to my place it will be making its way to my shed.
The best thing is i dont have to put much money into it at all as its dads car so he will be paying for everything.
Once its at mine ill get some more pics if anyone is keen to follow the build.

I assume you are going to rego it, so dont forget to get an engineer involved now. Easier to modify anything he says than after its finished!!

cheers

Yeah the kit has passed all engineering standeds but being that the kit is quite old now
i would assume laws have changed so will be checking it all out.
